Looking over the growing list of active-adult and retirement communities throughout the United States, it isn’t difficult to notice the concentration of these communities is somewhat lopsided.

Most people are now aware at how effective the Amber Alert system has become in the efficient recovery of missing children.  With the aging of so many Americans and a correlative increase in age-related mental impairment cases, such as Alzheimer’s, the need for a similar statewide and national alert system to quickly locate missing seniors has surfaced.

Reading through some of the news about retirement communities that make up my daily reading,  one particular article immediately caught my attention.  In the first paragraph under the quoted heading, “Make Your Life Meaningful,” was the mention of Art Linkletter, a name I hadn’t heard in many years.
