Green Turf of Home
SaddleBrooke Ranch in Tucson, Arizona, a new Robson active adult community,
has chosen to install artificial grass on the lawns of the nine homes in their model village. Looking to lower long-term grounds maintenance costs while maintaining a lush green look, Robson Communities chose the natural-looking synthetic turf from ForeverLawn(R).
Especially in states like Arizona where the climate is dry and oftentimes quite hot, installing turf as Robson has done can prove to be cost effective in the long run. The new turfs designed by ForeverLawn are green year round and help the home owner or as in this case the home owners association cut out the expenses of seeding in spring and winter months, mowing and trimming, and daily watering. Terry Loutzenheiser, vice president of Robson Communities’ construction stated that the long-term cost-savings and aesthetic benefits of using the artificial turf far outweigh the product’s initial cost.
There is an interesting FAQ section on the ForeverLawn web site about the turf products being offered. For pet owners that are concerned about the product not being pet friendly, there is even a product named K9Grass that has a flow through backing and anti-microbial blades for maximum protection.
ForeverLawn Inc is a young company, but business seems to be booming. Started by two brothers, Brian and Dale Karmie, who left the computer software industry and started laying synthetic turf themselves in 2002 before launching ForeverLawn in 2004, their old-fashioned approach to building their company is simply offering the highest quality product, operate on strong Christian business principles, and providing top-rate customer service. With the drought we’ve experienced here in Georgia and the unsightly lawns that many are experiencing due to strict water bans, ForeverLawn just may do a good business right here in “Hotlanta”.
